Armand Shank grew up in Cockeysville, Maryland where he still resides. He attended Towson University at night for 12 years, graduating in 1995 with a major in Business Administration. He served in the US Army from 1966 until 1968 followed by a year as a parts salesman at Anderson Chevrolet. In 1969, he joined Pete Peri, his father in law’s company, Rocchi Construction to learn the commercial construction business. In 1982, he was promoted to Vice President and then to President in 1987 when a buyout plan was put into action. He currently oversees the management and business development for the company.
In his free time, Armand enjoys history and collecting early paper money of Maryland. He was the co-author of “Money and Banking in Maryland” published by the Maryland Historical Society in 1996. He currently serves on the board of the Historical Society of Baltimore County. He is also a trustee of his church where he has donated extensive time to building projects. He has been married to Lisa for 27 years and has one daughter who resides in Austin, Texas.
